We’re excited to roll out several new enhancements to Wallist company profiles that helps your business stand out at first glance. Your company logo and banner images are the first things a customer sees when viewing your company. Making sure they are optimized for both mobile and desktop viewing is important. Now, you can change the layout of your images as well as specify a background color when the image doesn’t fill the entire space. You can also edit the image by cropping, rotating, resizing, and even redacting parts of the images!
Editing Images
You can now edit your images directly in the browser using our intuitive image editor. You can crop a part of the image, rotate or flip it, resize the image, and even redact unwanted details. For example, if you had an amazing banner image but there was a license plate number or house number you wanted to hide, you can redact just that portion.

Banner Image Options
Whether your banner is serving as a striking hero image or a branded background, you want it to scale beautifully across desktop and mobile. On desktop mode, the maximum visible area is 1280 pixels wide by 350 pixels tall, while mobile responsiveness ensures your banner looks great on smaller screens too.
Image Fit
You can choose how your image appears in the banner area:
- Cover: Your image will fill the container entirely, even if some cropping is required. This is great for bold visual impact like hero images, landscaping, and background photos and is the default option.
- Contain: Your full image will display without any cropping. If space is left around the image on the top, bottom, or sides, it will be filled with your selected background color.
Company Overlay
You now have the option to enable or disable the sleek semi-transparent overlay that displays your company name, location, and a direct link to your photo gallery. This overlay adds context and engagement without distracting from your image. If you have the company name and other details already in the banner image, you may wish to hide this Company Overlay.
Profile Logo Options
Your logo is displayed in search results, when browsing the directory, and on your profile. You can now specify the fit and background color of your logo too. If your logo is perfectly square, you won’t need to specify anything by default. If it isn’t square, you should specify a background color to fill the empty space.
Stand Out With a Stronger First Impression
Your Wallist profile is often the first impression potential customers have of your business. With these new image settings, you have more tools to make that impression a strong one. Having clean, responsive, and customized visuals helps convey professionalism and attention to detail, which are qualities customers value.
At Wallist, we’re committed to making it easier for service professionals to shine online, and this update is one more step in that direction.
